Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best way to get a hold of TrueBlue Pools and Spas?

Email and text are useful because it documents the conversation and both parties can refer to it as needed. You are always welcome to call, understand if no one answers your phone call immediately they may already be on the line speaking with another client. However, texting and/or emailing immediately after your phone call is best if we miss you. Leaving a Voicemail does work but sometimes the audio comes through scratchy or hard to understand.

What do you charge for Filter Cleanings?

It depends on the equipment and other factors, but my base rates are below:

$140.00 for any 4 cartridge or grid filter that requires Diatomaceous Earth be added.

$120.00 for any 4 cartridge filter that requires NO Diatomaceous Earth

$65.00 for any Single cartridge filter

Holidays and Emergency Service visits

TrueBlue Pools and Spas observes New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving week, and Christmas week. However, TrueBlue Pools and Spas will make every effort to return your calls and answer emails in order to address any emergencies that come up during these holidays.

Visits outside of the Client’s regular service schedule, are provided at an additional charge per visit. Prices depend on service or repair performed. This will be negotiated between TrueBlue Pools and Spas and the Client.

Additional Chemicals and Repairs

All chemicals used during weekly service are included in the monthly service fee. Storm Cleanup, Excessive Debris/Algae, Salt, additional chemicals, and any other situations out of the normal scope of weekly service for your Pool or Spa or Fountain will be charged separately. The Client understands they will be charged for additional chemicals needed to maintain the pool.

Pool Covers and Water Level

The CLIENT is responsible for maintaining the correct water level at all times. TrueBlue will notify the client and will power off equipment if necessary to prevent damage. TrueBlue Pools and Spas is not responsible for any damages or deterioration caused by failure of Client to properly maintain pool equipment between visits.

If there is a manual pool cover it must be removed on the day of service. If the manual cover is still on during the service day it may be completely removed by the pool technician, or left on and services will have to be adjusted due to the cover.

Pool Plasters and Surfaces

TrueBlue Pools and Spas shall not be responsible for any damages to property due to acts of nature, fire, vandalism, misuse, or abuse. The Client should be aware of normal deterioration of the pool plaster and equipment that occurs over time due to exposure to chemicals, sunlight, and, in some cases, other corrosive materials.

If you have had a previous pool company, not affiliated with TrueBlue Pools and Spas, perform chemical services to your pool, then TrueBlue Pools and Spas shall not be responsible for shading, staining, discoloration, spot etching, mottling, crazing, or bleaching of plaster or other pool surfaces.
